MBA Groans

It was a tough MBA week. And not only for me. Almost everyone I talked to yesterday complained about a tough and busy week.

The difficult MicroEconomics homework from last week did not help.

I spent twice as long as I normally did on that homework. And I still made a serious mistake. The professor had to send out hints to the entire class a couple of times to move things along.

A number of people were also absent from class yesterday. Some were down sick, apparently. ML was not feeling well and took off in the afternoon.

There are two more weeks before the end of this set of courses. I guess I’ll have to start preparing for the Microeconomics exam soon. The OB exam is open book/take home, so I’m not going to worry about it too much for now.

We have also been working pretty hard on the OB project. We thought we would get most of it done today (yes, it’s Sunday and we met for more than 3 hours!), but it looks like we need to spend more time reviewing the final document. Fingers crossed.

Some of the more adventurous guys have signed up for a one week trip to Washington DC for some kind of project. Apparently, they’ll get 2 credits for that. I’m going to reserve stuff like that for my second and third year. Hopefully, I’ll have more time then.

I went and signed up for the Innovation Challenge which is some kind of marketing innovation thing. We’ll see how well that goes…
