		<description>Flickr is a little more open than Picasa. For example, you can get free third-party Flickr uploaders which are very convenient for uploading multiple photos all at once. 

Flickr also has better links to other web properties for sharing and such.</description>

		<description>I couldn't agree more.  It may not be burdensome for the kiddies to spend all day tending their various gardens, but it sure is for a working person.  

I need to learn more about Flickr.  I know everybody uses it, but how does it compare to, say, Picasa?</description>

		<description>I wish the flagging system on CL was as pure as you make it sound!  Unfortunately, people abuse it heavily.  Your posts can be flagged down even though they don't violate any rules -- for example, posting a no-pay gig which is clearly WITHIN the rules will very quickly result in the post being flagged down.  Why?  Because the "community" doesn't like it.  It has nothing to do with rules.  IOW, the "police" you refer to are actually self-serving anarchists.</description>
